The book of Esther is the only book in the Bible which does not mention God by name. Though God is not mentioned by name in the entire book, he sovereignly and mercefully preserves his people in the midst of their adversity by their enemies.

This shows us that the “hiddenness” of God is not the absence of God. In our current adversity by Covid-19, God is still sovereign and will mercefully preserve His people.

Even when God appears “most hidden”, He is still sovereign and working to protect His people.
