Theology of Work

***Nothing is more exhausting than searching for easy ways to make a living***

  • Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need – Ephesians 4:28
  • Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense – Proverbs 12:11
  • Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labour – Proverbs 12:24
  • All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty – Proverbs 14:23
  • Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow – Proverbs 13:11

  • Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest – Proverbs 6:6-8
  • A little sleep, a little slumber,a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man – Proverbs 6:10-11
  • The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep – Ecclesiastes 5:12

***Work is sweet**

***Every day we wake up, our purse if filled with a precious gift of 24 hours, distributed to all equally – to work***
