As we continue with our 21 Days of Praying and Fasting:
Let our words agree with God’s word, for when the words of our mouth agree with the Word of God, we enlist the ministry of Jesus as the High Priest of our confession (Hebrews 3:1, KJV).
Again we are encouraged to hold fast our confession without wavering. We “hold fast” because He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:25).
David confessed: ‘I love the LORD, because He hears [and continues to hear] my voice and my supplications (my pleas, my cries, and my specific needs).’ (Psalm 116:1 AMP)
– The Lord always hears us when we call on Him for help.
– Your calls and prayers do not go unnoticed.
– He even knows your specific and unique needs.
– Nothing is too difficult for Him, so rest in His ability and faithfulness.
Let us be encouraged by knowing that when the adversary/accuser of brethren accuses us before God; Jesus is the High Priest of our confession, seated at the right hand of God interceding for us (Romans 8:34), all his accusations/charges were cancelled at Calvary.
The Holy Spirit is our advocate (John 14:16), who helps us to pray, and He makes intercession for us with GROANS which words cannot express (Romans 8:26).
Let us stand in the gap as the watchmen and intercessors of our country, families and the church of Jesus Christ.
