God Sees, Seeks and Hears the Invisible Part 2

Genesis 16:1-14

v6 Hagar runs away because of mistreatment

v7 The angel of the LORD (Jesus) found her, beside a spring in the WILDERNESS

v9 The angel of the LORD commands her to return to her mistress, and submit to her authority (in 3, she had treated Sarah her mistress with contempt)

v10 By obeying, she would be blessed (God will give her justice)

v11 She was given Ishmael (meaning God hears), for the LORD heard the cry of her DISTRESS.

v13 You are the God who sees me (EL-ROI) (**God saw a slave woman in a foreign country**)

v12 Though God sees, seeks and hears, He cannot be manipulated, through man made schemes.

Genesis 21:8-20

v14 Hagar and Ishmael are sent away and wanders AIMLESSLY in the desert.

v15 Water gets finished

v16 Hagar cannot stand watch the boy die, bursts into TEARS.

v17 God heard the boy CRY (v9 Though Ishmael had made fun of Isaac, God still cared).

v18 Boy Ishmael was comforted

v19 Water provided in the wilderness

v20 God was with the boy as he grew in the WILDERNESS, and he became a skillful ARCHER.

Luke 19:1-10 (Jesus and Zacchaeus)

Jesus saw Zacchaeus who was not loved by the people.

v7 The people saw a notorious sinner

v9 Salvation came to his house (**God saw Zacchaeus who was overshadowed**)
