Ruth 1:16-17 – Where you go, I will go, where you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die and there I will be buried.

Naomi was at the very bottom of her grief cycle – bitter, resentful and full of self-pity. Ruth gave up everything she had to stay with Naomi up to the end back home.

This is a perfect example of the sacrifice Christ made for us, that while we were at our lowest, dead in trespass, and sin, and he gave himself for us (**Sought and found us who were the invisible **). Ephesians 2:1, 4-5, Romans 5:8, Col 1:13.
