Matthew 11:19 Wisdom is proved right by her deeds

II Timothy 2:2, says, “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.”

Do you see the link? Paul is saying that we have been taught by others. We in turn are going to teach others. The gospel chain goes on from link to link, from generation to generation.

Proverbs 14:4 states an important principle: Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; but much increase comes by the strength of an ox.

1. Pursuing Purity:

**Stop living a Double Life
**Sexual Perversion : public nudity, premarital sex, homosexuality, cohabitation, abortion
**Flee sexual temptations – Gen 39:6-15
**Sexual temptation starts from within: James 1:13-15
**Let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall – 1 Cor 10:12
**God assures us of victory when temptations come 1 Cor 10:13

2. God’s Gift of Sexuality and Sex
Sexuality is all that pertains to being male or female. Any other expression – gay, lesbianism, bisexual, transsexual, queer, intersexual is perversion of God’s original creation and design of human sexuality.

3. Perverted Sexuality
Perversion means to cause to turn away from what is right i.e to corrupt, twisting what’s wrong to look right and acceptable.
Perversion calls us to accept, embrace and celebrate sin

4. The reality of Sexual Temptations:

–Fleeing from sexual temptations: Genesis 39:6-15
–Natural sexual desires are normal and God given. Temptations start from within: James 1:13-15
–We should pray for victory and approach sexuality with victory: 1 Cor 10:13

( What were the circumstances that led David to commit adultery, how did he devise to cover up his sin, why was a man of God unable to resist this temptation of adultery and murder, what circumstances easily lead God’s people to fall into sexual temptation?).
