John 3:3 “*Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God* .”

What’s to be born again?
What’s a born again Christian supposed to be like?
Many believe in existence of God.
People are yearning for “spirituality”.
There is too much interest in supernatural ; occultism, witchcraft , necromancy.

Hey, you need Christ.
You must be born again.
What does it mean to be born again?
Humanity needs transformation.
You cannot make law to make people love each other.

_The bible says *,”But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men* , “(Jn 2:24)
Jesus knew what’s in man, what is in their hearts.

For ” *The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?* “(Jer 17:9)

Out of the heart proceeds fornication, hatred, murder, jealousy these are things that defiles a man.

It’s easy to say _”I am a Christian”._
It’s easy to say _,” I read the bible from cover to cover.”

But do you have Christ in your heart?
Our Lord once said *,”This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.* “(Mat 5:18)

Jesus knows you profess with your lips you love Him but your heart belongs to something else; businesses, materialism, pleasure.

You”… *profess that (you) know God; but in works (you) deny him, being* *abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate* . “(Titus 1:16)

He knows you profess to be a Christian
but take his name in vain, you drag His name in the mire.

Are you born again?
Are you willing to deny self and carry the cross?

Necodemus had all the upper trappings of a believer but he was not born again.
He paid tithes and offerings.
He was a devout church_goer.
Are you born again?

You must know Christ to be a Christian.
We have inherited tenets of sin from our parents.

” *Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin;*
*and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:* “(Rom 5:12)
Because of our sin we die. We need a saviour; Christ Jesus.

” *That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit* .”(John 3:6)

Being born again is an act of Holy Spirit on the heart.
Holy Spirit is received not inherited.
We are born again not by works of righteousness but according to His mercy He saved us by _washing of regeneration and by the Holy Spirit_ .
_Not by corruptible but by incorruptible seed_ .

Jesus said, ” *as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness* , *even so must the Son of man be lifted up* :
*That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life* . “(Jn 3:14_15)

1. So if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
