Judges 1:1-2. ..the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?*

*And the LORD said, Judah shall go up….*

Judah shall go first for us.

The Lord has delivered the land into his hands.

Judah means praise. God has given victory to Praise.

Praise has the victory!

Praises brought down the walls of Jericho.

Praise has already decided, I will bless the LORD at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make her boast in the LORD.

*But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel* .(Ps 22:3)

He is enthroned on the praises of saints.

He rides on praises of His people.

He inhabits our praises.

God inhabits that place of worship among His people.

He is holy. He draws near and inhabit the worship of His people.

*_In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel_* .(Ps76:1)

In praise God is known.

He is revealed in praises.

He is honoured in praises.

Beloved, praise the Lord regardless of the circumstances you are facing.

Let the praises of God be as rivers of living water flowing from your belly.

Enter a new day with a song on your lips.

*Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings* (Ps 9:11)

Jehovah is tabernacled where praises are offered to Him.

Praises is powerful, a necessity and a key to God’s blessings.

Judah goes first, and praise always leads the way into the new things of God.

Praise releases faith. Praise is the voice of faith, and faith is the key to victory.

As praise becomes the confession of our mouth our faith is released.

Israelites asked the Lord” *…which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first* (Judges 20:18)

Judah shall go up first.

Praises shall go up first.

Yes, send Judah first!!

Praise is a powerful weapon of warfare.

Praises defeats God’s enemies.

We are to sing, speak, declare praises among the people, to praise him with instruments, lifting of hands, clapping, shouting and dancing.

He is worthy to be praised.

He is worthy because of his majesty, beauty, holiness, love grace, goodness, and faithfulness

He’s worthy because he saved us, redeemed us, and blessed us abundantly.

*I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth*(Ps 34:1)

Beloved,

Just like the children of Israel had asked God who they should send first in judges 1:1,20:18

God said send praise first for I have already delivered the victory into your hands.

If we just send praise first and declare victory over our situation or battle God will already have it delivered into our hands!

That’s all we need to do.

I give thanks to the Almighty, the everlasting, the prince of peace Jesus who has delivered victory this morning into our hands!!!
