Ecclesiastes1
v4 Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.
v11 No one remembers the former generations, and even those yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow them.

**EXODUS 1:6
v6 Now Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died,
v7 but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.
v8 Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt.
FEW FACTS:
v26 All those who went to Egypt with Jacob—those who were his direct descendants, not counting his sons’ wives—numbered sixty-six persons.
v27 With the two sons who had been born to Joseph in Egypt, the members of Jacob’s family, which went to Egypt, were SEVENTY in all.
GENESIS 46:26-27
**They left Egypt a million+
v29 When the time drew near for Israel to die, he called for his son Joseph and said to him, “If I have found favor in your eyes, put your hand under my thigh and promise that you will show me kindness and faithfulness. Do not bury me in Egypt,
v30 but when I rest with my fathers, carry me out of Egypt and bury me where they are buried.” “I will do as you say,” he said.

Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you and take you back to the land of your fathers.
**Vision & Encouragement***
Genesis 48:21
v20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
v21 So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.
**Forgiveness**
Genesis 50: 20 – 21 NIV
Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”
Genesis 50:24 NIV
**Speak & wish well to family members who have wronged you**
And Joseph made the Israelites swear an oath and said, “God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up from this place.”
**Joseph’s wish is like his father, his bones were to be carried back home** (Family Heritage/Identify carried on)
