°°Someone Hates you & doesn’t wish you well??°°
–Remember God’s Promise: “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” [Romans 8:28 NLT]
–How to treat those who hate you:
”Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. [19] Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. [20] On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” [Romans 12:14, 19-20 ]
“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For you will heap burning coals on his head, And the Lord will reward you.” [Proverbs 25:21-22]
“…..love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.” [Luke 6:35]
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ [44] But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [Matthew 5:43-44 ]
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” [Luke 6:27-28]
“Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.” [1 Peter 3:9]
“If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying helpless under its load, you shall refrain from leaving it to him, you shall surely release it with him.” [Exodus 23:5]
“Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles.” [ Proverbs 24:17]
God’s Promise & Reward:
“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” [Proverbs 16:7]
Do not say, “I will repay evil”; wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you. [Proverbs 20:22]
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.[Genesis 50:20]
“You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. [6] Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.” [Psalms 23:5-6]
