1. {Church Growth}:
–Acts 1:15 – In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty)
–Acts 2:41 – Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
–Acts 2:46-47 – Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, [47] praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
–Acts 4:4 – But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand.
–Acts 5:13-14 – No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. [14] Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.

3. {Baptism of the Holy Spirit}
–Acts 1:5 – For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

–Acts 2:11 – (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”

[17] Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

[45] The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. [46] For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, [47] “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”
{Giving People what they Need}
—Acts 3:3-6 – When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. [4] Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” [5] So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. [6] Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
—Acts 3:8 – He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.
{Sincere Fellowship}
–Acts 2:42-44 – They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. [43] Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. [44] All the believers were together and had everything in common.

–Acts 4:32-34 – All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales
